Landon Hoyt - BW - 4

I’m a dedicated leader in community and local economic development, public engagement, and urbanist communities. I strive to serve my local community in ways that build stronger communities and more engaged citizens. I have worked with local organizations and governments in Vancouver and throughout British Columbia.

My experience comes from a deep desire to lead with the collective in mind, ensuring those who are traditionally excluded or underserved are given voice and dignity in the process.

Let’s chat about how I can help!

I acknowledge that where I live and work in Vancouver is on unceded xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) territory.

Services

Non-profit advising and organizational thinking
Stakeholder engagement

I’m a doer at heart with strong organizational and process skills. I can help you think through some tough problems and equip you with systems to keep things running efficiently and with impact.

Urbanism, sustainability, local economic development, and poverty reduction

Whether you’re looking to communicate and engage with the public or targeted stakeholders, I bring a wealth of skills to help you meet your goals. Drawing on tactics and best practices from my own experience and from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), we can design engagement that helps you make better decisions.

Facilitation

I have worked in numerous spaces at the intersection of these topics, and there is nothing more that I love than strategizing how to improve these systems to make our communities more thriving and equitable places.

Facilitating conversations can be daunting, and sometimes having a third-party individual coordinate and manage the conversation makes for more rich and candid results. Trained in facilitating tough conversations, I can help you develop smooth meetings and events that seek to move you and your stakeholders toward action.
